Obama is a calm and peaceful person and his aims are also world peace. But unlike his words, he has not done much(much?, probabljavascript: postComment(0);y nothing) for the world peace till now.He does a lot of tours and diplomacy thing e.t.c but still nothing very impactful and efficient to earn a noble.Barack Obama is one of the most over-rated personalities in the world today and this nobel is going to add to it. There is no doubt that he can do well in world peace and will continue to do it but i think its way too early.

Its a travesty for the sincere that have spent a lifetime taking action to improve world peace. Obama is a politician, he has charisma and decent speech writers. Other than that he is an empty shell with plenty of people pushing the skeletons back in the closet

I cannot understand what all the fuss is about, Barack Obama winning the Nobel Peace Prize, a prize bestowed upon him not one he campaigned for and one Americans across the world should be proud of. To call Barack Obama over-rated is to say Bush was an understatement. I cant believe that people would dedicate their existence to try and ridicule this man. But it doesnt surprise, education and literacy is hard to come by these days. People who have glass houses always throw the first stone and that is true of society and the world as a whole. Since Barack Obama has been in power his whole persona, his very being revolves around peace not war, he has been to many places and reignited belief and trust in the American Government something that Bush demolished and nearly buried. But to say he doesnt deserve the Nobel Peace prize is to say Bush doesnt deserve the prize of being the worlds greatest Tyrant but nothing has been mentioned about that. Bush started a war that was illegal and dragged everyone else into it but not for the good of his country but for his ever bottomless obsession of oil and yet the world have not condemed this.

Up steps Barack Obama a Black Man, trying to promote peace, love, unity and fairness and the first thing we do is shoot him down. He has only been in power for a short while but in that short space of time has united the world and put The United States of America back on speaking terms with the rest of the world. Any man whether he be black or white that can do this after the Bush Era deserves the Nobel Peace Prize for what it is worth.
