The new season of ‘Project Runway’ has been pushed back to January 2009, as it’s new network home wants more time to promote the Heidi Klum fashion design show.
Lifetime, who has taken the series from Bravo, made the announcement on Friday (September 5) stating in a press release, “With this move, the series will resume its traditional cycle of two seasons per year.
“We look forward to ringing in the New Year by giving ‘Project Runway’ loyal fans a superlative season six with Heidi, Tim, Nina and Michael. The new date and time will be announced soon.”
The series is the subject of a lawsuit from NBC/Universal who claim the show was shopped around by Weinstein Co, prior to them being given the first right of refusal.
