Rachel Bilson, former star of television’s ‘The O.C.’, has co-designed a range of clothing for DKNY Jeans Junior’s brand that will be in stores by the northern fall this year.
The range, called Edie Rose, was named after Bilson’s grandmother Edie and a close family friend named Rose, both of whom inspired the ‘Jumper’ actress when she was growing up. The collection will feature sweaters, t-shirts, coats and jeans.
"I have been passionate about beginning my own collection for some time now," Bilson says.
"Working with DKNY Jeans, a brand with similar demographics in terms of who I wanted to design for and similar aesthetics, has been really magical. They completely brought all my ideas and designs to life and have been so helpful and supportive with my vision."
Bilson also discussed the line with Women’s Wear Daily saying, "I want people to see these clothes for what they are, not just another line designed by another celebrity. I want the line to be taken seriously."
