Rapper DMX was arrested at Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix on Wednesday (July 2) for failing to appear in court, driving without a license and failing to pay fines.
A spokesman for the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office stated that DMX was taken into custody after disembarking a plane, adding to the already mounting legal woes the 37-year-old is facing.
DMX, born Earl Simmons, was arrested in Florida twice last week for driving without a license and during a drug bust.
He was already facing charges resulting from his May arrest on suspicion of drug possession and animal cruelty.
