Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal Not Engaged

According to the British press, Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal are planning to tie the knot at Christmas, however, both reps have called the story “lies.”
The Daily Mail ran an article saying the couple were, “planning to wed on or around his birthday on December 19 after he finishes his new film, ‘Prince Of Persia.’”
According to an ’source on set’ Gyllenhaal divulged, “He told me he had proposed several times but she kept telling him she wanted to give their relationship more time. When he asked her again a couple of weeks ago, she finally said yes.”
A joint statement by the couple’s reps said the rumors are “lies” and, “They are not engaged, getting married or any of the reports.”

Duh. Would they really trust their private plans to someone on a set? If it was a friend, that person would not be giving information to the press. Must have been a slow news day!
