A rep for Jamie Lynne Spears has confirmed that investigations are underway, following the theft of personal photos from a digital camera belonging to her partner, Casey Aldridge.
TMZ first reported that 12 photos of the couple and their famous family were being peddled around to the highest bidder, after Aldridge allegedly took the camera to a Wal-Mart to have photo’s printed from the memory card.
According to the website, one of the pics is of Spears breastfeeding the couple’s daughter Maddie – which means that selling or buying of the photograph would constitute child pornography.
A rep for Spears tells OK!, “We have been informed that someone was trying to solicit personal photos that belong to Jamie Lynn, and currently the proper authorities are looking into the matter.”
Wal-Mart told TMZ, “We saw the story on the wires and it’s news to us too. We’ll of course investigate what, if anything, has happened here.”

TMZ got this story wrong. There is no federal law prohibiting pictures of underage breasts being suckled, in the absence of any sexual activity. So the only real issue is if the pictures did get copied or sold without permission.
