Rob Pattinson: Sex Scenes With Uma Thurman Were “Disturbing”

Twilight star Robert Pattinson has admitted to being nervous about his sex scenes with movie star Uma Thurman in their new movie Bel Ami, describing the scenes as “kind of disturbing”.
The actor plays Parisian journalist Georges Duroy in the film, in which he steams up the screen with Thurman – although, he insists that the shooting process was far from sexual.
“The sex scenes with Uma are kind of disturbing,” he says.
“Her character, Madeleine, kind of uses sex as a sort of weapon and, my character thinks like an animal. There are a lot of sex scenes in this film, so I’m asking quite a lot of myself, and with lots of different people as well.”
Pattinson, 23, also gets steamy with actresses Christina Ricci and Kristin Scott Thomas in the film.
Bel Ami is a film adaptation of French author Guy de Maupassant’s 19th Century novel of the same name, and follows ambitious young Georges sleeps as his way to the top.
