Robert Pattinson Cab Stories ‘Exaggerated’, Says Rep

As his star continues to rise, concerns are being raised regarding the safety of Twilight actor Robert Pattinson, with reports he was struck by a cab while trying to escape an hysterical fan on Thursday (June 18) in New York City.

Radar Online claims they witnessed Pattinson get clipped by the cab at the front of the Strand Bookstore on Broadway and 12th Street, but says he wasn’t injured in the incident.

A rep for Summit Entertainment said in a statement, “Robert Pattinson is fine. The reports are exaggerated, and the accident was not caused by fans. Production continues.”
