Robin Williams and Wife End 19-Year Marriage

Marcia Garces Williams, wife of Robin Williams, has filed for divorce from her comedic movie star husband after almost 19 years of marriage, with court documents – entered on March 21 - citing irreconcilable differences.

The couple, who met when Garces Williams was a babysitter for Williams son, married in 1989, and have two children together.

Court documents state that the pair wish to share joint legal custody of their 16-year-old son, Cody Alan. Their daughter, Zelda Rae, is 18.

Documents also state that Williams is to pay spousal support, and that their property will be divided up once their assests have been determined.

Mara Buxbaum, Williams’ representative, confirmed the news to People.com, but gave no further detail about the split.
