Rolling Stone Enters Rehab For Seventh Time

July 17th, 2008

A spokeswoman for Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood announced on Wednesday (July 16) that the 61-year-old rocker has entered rehab for the seventh time, to cure his drinking problem.

Reports have come out of the British press suggesting that the musician was holed-up in his Irish mansion with a 20-year-old Russian cocktail waitress drinking two bottles of vodka a day, despite still being married to Jo, his wife of 23 years.

Wood’s spokeswoman released a statement saying, “Following Ronnie’s continued battle with alcohol he has entered a period of rehab. His close family and friends say he is seeking help and look forward to his recovery.”
