Rosie O’Donnell has taken to her official website declaring that “Life is good,” after pics of her and a mystery new woman were photographed holding hands in Miami on Tuesday (December 29).

Reports that the former talk show queen split with partner Kelli Carpenter two years ago have swirled around the blogosphere over the past couple of months, however O’Donnell has remained mum on the situation.

When addressing fan questions on her blog about the new photo, the 47-year-old said that she plans to “begin again in 2010.”

“Life is good,” she adds, “I am happy.”
