Ryan Seacrest: Highest Paid Reality Host Ever

What Global Financial Crisis?  Ryan Seacrest has signed off on a deal worth $45 million to keep hosting American Idol for another three years, making him the highest paid reality television host ever.

In a statement announcing the deal with Simon Fuller’s 19 Entertainment Seacrest said, “I’m truly appreciative of being part of a show that has had such an enormous impact on popular culture across all ages.  I look forward to expanding the relationship with Simon Fuller and Bob Sillerman, who share the same visionary approach to entertainment media that I strive for with every project.”

The 34-year-old is one of the hardest working people in the industry, hosting his daily breakfast radio show, AT40, American Idol and producing tv’s Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Denise Richards: It’s Complicated, and Brody Jenner’s Bromance.
