Sarah McLachlan Splits From Husband Of 11 Years

Canadian singer Sarah McLachlan has split from her husband of 11 years, Ashwin Sood, announcing, “There’s no good time to say it, so I just said it.”
McLachlan revealed the news while promoting her best of album ‘Closer: The Best of Sarah McLachlan’ telling Billboard the situation is “pretty gross.”
“I wasn’t planning on saying anything,” she said. “But it’s gonna come out at some point. I haven’t said anything about it because I’ve been terrified to, but I figure … there’s no good time to say it, so I just said it.”
The couple have two daughters together, Ann Sushil, 6, and Taja Summer, 14 months.
