Scarlett Johansson Denies Diva Demands

Reports that Scarlett Johansson had blown off the Cannes Film Festival because her "diva demands" weren’t met by a movie studio, are false according to her rep.

Stories are circulating that the 23-year-old actress isn’t attending the event because her demands of a $7,800-a-day make-up artist, along with a hotel 30 miles away from the Cannes action, were denied.

However, Johansson’s rep has slammed the rumors telling the New York Daily News that the ’Vicky Cristina Barcelona’ star was absent, "due to scheduling conflicts, but she is thrilled at how well the film was received in Cannes."
