Scarlett Johansson and Liev Schrieber are teaming up for A View From A Bridge, which kicks off its Broadway run from January 24. New York Time Out magazine posted a bunch of pics of the pair and had a chat.
Marking Johansson’s Broadway debut, Schrieber says, “I’m stunned by the level of security she seems to have. I really expected her to be a lot more scared. I mean, we’ve both been flipping out. Or at least I have.”
The 25-year-old actress replies, “That’s only my ignorant bliss. [Laughs] See, you guys know what’s to come. I’m that idiot that you lead into the room, being like, “What’s going on? What are you all so nervous about?”
Schrieber is virtually a Broadway veteran, having performed on stage in New York’s famous theater district in 2002, 2005, 2006 and in the revival of Talk Radio in 2007.
“I thought it had to be that,” he fires back at Johannson. “Or else that you’d been drinking. But you didn’t smell like you’d been drinking.”
