Schwarzenegger Might Return To Hollywood

December 22nd, 2007

There’s been speculation in the media that former movie star and current Governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger, might return to the big screen once his term in office finishes in January 2011, however his spokesman has given nothing definite away.

With other movie action heroes like Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis and Harrison Ford reinvigorating their respective movie franchizes, stories have been circulating that the ‘Governator’ may head in the same direction and take on Hollywood again at age 63 when his politcal run is over.

Ray Richmond from Past Deadline put the question directly to Governor Schwarzenegger’s office rep, Aaron McLear.

"Once the governor’s current term is up, he may go back to the movies, or devote energy to business, or continue working on environmental issues, or run a foundation – or start painting!" McLear explains.

"But the governor has decided nothing is final yet, and is devoting his enery to the job of running the state."

When Richmond asked if McLear was "aware that his statement included no political option", McLear answered "yes", giving an indication that Schwarzenegger may not stay in office beyond 2011.
