Shemar Moore: I’m Not Gay

Criminal Minds star Shemar Moore has fought back at homosexual claims after nude photos of the actor skinny dipping on a reported gay beach were published in the National Enquirer and featured on several gossip blogs.
Moore, who stars as Derek Morgan on the police drama, talked to Entertainment Tonight about the controversy saying:
"People say I got caught. I didn’t get caught. I went on vacation with two girlfriends of mine, who interestingly enough got cut out of the pictures. We weren’t allowed to skinny dip at the hotel pool, so we found out there was a nude beach just down the street that as far as I knew was a unisex beach, but the tabloids want to make it a gay beach. We had a wonderful afternoon.
I have skinny dipped since I was a teenager. I skinny dip in my house. Will I go to another beach and skinny dip again? Were there gay people on the beach? I don’t know. I don’t care. Were there families on the beach? Yeah. Did I get caught? I didn’t get caught. I voluntarily went on vacation with some lady friends of mine and had a good time.
People find it interesting to make me gay. I am not gay. I don’t have a problem with gay people. My godfather was gay and died of AIDS. I am not a guy who discriminates. I know what I am and what I am not. I am a guy who went on vacation with two beautiful girls. I am single, I am not married with kids, and I decided to go skinny dipping. I am just glad the water was warm!"
