Sherri Shepherd Discusses Abortion Interview

Sherri Shepherd has clarified comments she made during an interview with a Christian magazine where she was quoted as saying she’d had “more abortions that I can count.”

Addressing her comments on talk show ‘The View’, Shepherd said the magazine failed to tell the whole story.

“The full quote was, I suffer from a lot of shame and guilt, and I didn’t know how to forgive myself,” she explained.

“This is something I went through. I like to inspire women who go through a lot of shame and guilt [because] I too went through it.”
