Those watching the Oscars telecast closely on Sunday night (Feb 22) would have noticed Will Smith say ‘Boom goes the Dynamite’ after messing his lines.  Watch the origin of this line and the story behind it after the jump.

Started by Brian Collins, ‘Boom goes the dynamite’ made it’s way into the public vernacular after he was asked to fill in for a friend on Ball State University’s campus newscast.
