Snooki Criminally Charged – For Being Annoying

New Jersey prosecutors have charged pint-sized Jersey Shore star Snooki for annoying people (seriously!), disorderly conduct and creating a public nuisance, following her drunken beach arrest last month.
Snooki – real name Nicole Polizzi – has entered a plea of not guilty for all three charges, which stemmed from a particularly big day of filming in July.
While the reality TV star is not expected to serve jail time, she does face fines of up to $2,000 if convicted of all three charges. Her attorney hopes that Snooki’s clean record should keep the wrap down to $500.
Regardless of the outcome, Snooki may be set to tone down her partying ways, after saying that the case has made her “feel like a criminal” and caused her to rethink her lifestyle.
She’s due back in a Seaside Heights court for trial on September 8.
