Rapper Snoop Dogg has brought the release date for his upcoming album ‘Ego Trippin’ forward by two months to March 11, after originally planning to drop the album in May this year.
The rapper and now reality television star – who’s show ‘Father Hood’ centers around life in the Dogg household, and screens on the E! channel worldwide – has teamed up with DJ Quik and 90s uber producer Teddy Riley (Michael Jackson, Blackstreet) for the new album, which features the US top 10 song ‘Sensual Seduction’.
"We’re known as QDT," Snoop explained to MTV News about the collaboration between the three.
"Compton’s finest, if you ask me… We’ve always played for the same team, we just never wore the same uniform."
One famous face who’s already had a sneak preview of the album is David Beckham, who the rapper forged a friendship with during a segment on his show.
The British soccer star and a friend were invited to have a listen to the new album ,with Beckham’s friend telling MTV, "I have all of Snoop’s albums, and that’s definitely one of his best ones."
