Snoop Dogg has been ordered to pick up trash and perform park maintenance involving "everything from raking leaves to painting benches", in a sentence handed down to the rapper on Thursday (October 11).
Cordozar Calvin Broadus Jr, Snoop Dogg’s real name, was given 160 hours of community service stemming from a charge of carrying a collapsible baton, classified as an illegal weapon, at John Wayne Airport in Orange County in September last year.
In addition to the community service, the rapper also received three years probation, incurred court costs, and was ordered to pay a $10,000 donation to a county charity for troubled children.
No details have been released about the location of the park for fear of the media and fans, with Broadus’ attorney, Donald Etra, stating that, "He’s glad to make a contribution to Orange County."
