May 13th, 2009

Susan Sarandon talked about her cameo in Justin Timberlake and Andy Samberg’s Motherlovers video that premiered on Saturday Night Live last weekend, calling it a “classic.”  Watch the clip after the jump.

During an appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday night (May 12), Sarandon said of her role as Samberg’s mother, “My 16-year-old said it would be classic.”

She added that plenty of syrup and whipped cream outtakes between her and Timberlake ended up on the cutting room floor, but would be good if a DVD of the video was ever released.

Sarandon explained that the broadcast edit of Motherlovers was actually restrained saying, “I was relieved the classic was so classy.”
