Sylvester Stallone Selling Russian Vodka

Sylvester Stallone, star of the ‘Rambo’ and ‘Rocky’ movies, has signed on to be the face of Russian vodka company Synergy, in a one year contract reported to be worth a million dollars.

The alcohol company released a statement on Friday (August 15) announcing the deal saying, “The advertising campaign concept was based on the fact that the actor has Russian roots.”

Stallone’s great grandmother, Rosa Rabinovich, was from the Ukrainian town of Odessa with the actor to feature in a series of television and newspaper advertisements for the company’s ‘Russian Ice’ brand.
