Pat O’Brien, host of television gossip show ‘The Insider’, has checked himself into a rehabilitation facility for unknown reasons, it was revealed on Friday (February 8).

This will be O’Brien’s second stint in rehab after he made headlines in March 2005 for leaving multiple sexually explicit voice-mails that were leaked to the media, resulting in his treatment for alcohol abuse.

A statement released on Friday by his popular television show explains:

"O’Brien and his doctors felt this is the best course for maintaining his sobriety." 

No other information has been released at this time.
