T.I. Commences Jail Term

T.I., or inmate number 59458019, started his jail term on Tuesday (May 26), reporting to the Forrest City Federal Correctional Complex, Arkansas, to commence his 366-day sentence.

The rapper, born Clifford Harris Jr., ran late and missed his noon deadline, with his tardiness possibly affecting his plea deal with prosecutors, according to The Associated Press.

Harris faced a maximum term of 10 years in jail for his weapons charge, after he attempted to illegally purchase firearms in 2007.
