T.I. To Drop New Single Upon Release From Jail

ti-atlanticT.I. is set to release a new single, called I’m Back, on Monday (March 8) and is set to be released from his prison sentence at the end of this month, his lawyer announced Thursday.

ti-atlantic“That date is correct,” Steve Sadow, T.I’s lawyer, told MTV of the March 26 release date. “T.I. is now serving the remainder of his sentence in home confinement under the supervision of the U.S. Bureau of Prisons.”

The rapper was incarcerated in May on felony weapons charges and still has 20 to 60 days of additional home confinement remaining and a further 500 hours of community service to complete once released.

Although not officially confirmed, it’s expected T.I. will complete work on a new album during the time confined to his home.
