The show may cost a lot to make but how much does it bring in? I mean how much do advertisers pay to have their ads in a spot on 24? How many sales will be changed downward because 24 is not on for this specific group to watch? Has FOX or any of the advertisers done research to see how the advertisers' sales will be affected if they do not have 24 for them to ride along with? If fans go, so does the money for the ads, because no 24, means no ads, means no people watching the ads, sales go down. This is not just about FOX's cost bu about the retail market and they may not be happy to loose sales because a popular show like 24 is pulledand their ads have to go elsewhere to try to save the bottom line.
