A story that Tom Cruise lost his personal Blackberry last week spread like wildfire around the internet and newspapers across the world, however, his reps have denied the incident even occurred.

Reports of Cruise’s missing phone popped up after the actor was in Toronto doing press for his new film ‘Valkyrie’.

“A search was done, but, nada,” a story said about the lost cell. “So, basically, someone in Toronto has Top Gun’s crackberry.”

Jeff Raymond, who represents Cruise, told Hollyscoop.com that he “never lost his Blackberry” and that it was a “fake story”.
