Tom Cruise Denies Role In New Shrek Movie

Tom Cruise has denied rumors that he is set to join the cast of Shrek in the fourth movie scheduled to hit cinema’s in 2010.

Reports from an ‘insider’ claimed Cruise would play a villian in ‘Shrek Goes Fourth,’ joining Mike Meyers, Eddie Murphy and Cameron Diaz in the next installment of the green ogre’s adventures.

Cruise’s rep, Jeff Raymond, explained to E! News, “As of today, there is no truth to the Tom Cruise, Shrek 4 rumor.”
