Tom Cruise & Matt Lauer To Go One-On-One… Again

US tv network NBC announced Wednesday (December 10) that Tom Cruise is returning to the ‘Today’ show for another chat with host Matt Lauer, their first on-air encounter since the headline grabbing interview in 2005. Watch the original after the jump.
The last time Cruise and Lauer sat down together on tv, the interview erupted into a heated exchange over the actor’s stance on psychiatry and the use of anti-depressant drugs, calling Lauer “glib”.
However, NBC announced that Cruise will return to Studio 1a for a live interview on December 15, saying the actor “will talk to Lauer about his latest historical thriller, ‘Valkyrie’, and his role in the much buzzed-about film. The legendary actor will also chat about his distinguished career, his family, including wife Katie Holmes, and children Connor, Isabella and Suri and their life at home.”
