Tom Cruise’s hit character Les Grossman, who first appeared in the movie Tropic Thunder, looks set to get a full length feature film, with Paramount and MTV sending out a press release Wednesday (June 9) confirming they’re starting work on a biopic of the faux Hollywood agent.
“Les Grossman’s life story is an inspiring tale of the classic human struggle to achieve greatness against all odds,” Ben Stiller, who is co-producing the movie with Cruise, said in a statement. “He has assured me he plans to, quote, ‘F*cking kill the sh*t out of this movie and make “Citizen f*cking Kane” look like a piece-of-crap home movie by the time we are done.’ I am honored to be working with him.”
The as-yet-untitled movie, telling the life story of the fictional character, is only in the early development stage following Cruise’s appearance at last Sunday’s (June 6) 2010 MTV Movie Awards.
