Following a confirmation earlier this year that she was joining the cast of the new spin-off ’90210,’ Tori Spelling has now said she won’t be appearing on the show.
Spelling was set to reprise her character Donna Martin in the series and join fellow ex-castmates Jennie Garth and Shannen Doherty, who have also signed on.
“At this time, there are no plans for Tori to appear in the ’90210′ spin-off,” her rep told Usmagazine on Monday (August 11).
The actress was delighted to be returning to the show, announcing in May, “When they say you can’t go home again, it’s not true. I’m headed back to the zip code I know best and couldn’t be happier!”
A spokesperson for the show added, “The CW has no deal with Tori Spelling to appear on ’90210′ at this time.”
Inside reports say that Spelling was unhappy at being paid less than her former co-stars to appear on the show, however, no official comment has been made.
