Tori Spelling has revealed that she has been in talks to join her fellow former ’90210′ castmate Jennie Garth back at the postcode that put them on the celebrity map.
U.S. television network The CW officially announced on Sunday (May 11) that they are proceeding with the show, with Lori Loughlin starring and Jennie Garth signed on to reprise her role as Kelly Taylor.
Spelling, 34, who played Donna Martin on the hit nineties show, told People.com that she is interested in working on the new program.
"Jennie is already on board for the series, and we have been in touch about it," she said.
“I would love to see our characters Kelly and Donna together again and get the chance to work with my friend again.”
The actress’s father, Aaron Spelling, was responsible for the original ‘Beverly Hllls 90210′. “It was always my dad’s dream and intention to make a new ’90210′ before he passed, so I know he is proud and he would be even more proud if I were a part of it,” said Spelling.
“I truly hope for the fans’ sake that it all works out!”
A spokesperson for the network remained tight-lipped about Spelling’s involvement saying, "At this point, there is nothing to report."
