Tracey Edmonds, ex-wife of Kenneth ‘Babyface’ Edmonds and former flame of Eddie Murphy, has denied a British tabloid report that she is dating music and clothing mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.

A British paper had claimed that Edmonds, 41, called Diddy "the man for me" and said that he was funnier then her ex, comedian Eddie Murphy. The report, which was widely picked up on the internet, quoted Edmonds as saying Diddy "whisked me off my feet". 

However, reps for Edmonds and Diddy both deny that the pair are romantically linked. 

"Tracey Edmonds never uttered the words quoted in the [tabloid]," her rep told People magazine. "The story is a complete fabrication.”

Adds Diddy’s rep, "Sean is very single. He and Tracy have known each other for over 10 years."

Edmonds, who produced the 2001 movie ‘Josie and the Pussycats’, split from Murphy, 47, in January, just two weeks after they were married in Bora Bora.
