Former Blink 182 drummer and reality TV star Travis Barker is not dead, despite several gossip blogs reporting that he died on November 13 in his garage following an awards ceremony.

The rumor started with a MySpace bulletin posting that read, "Last night on November 13th, famous drummer Travis Barker was found dead in his garage…. Investigators are not sure of how Former +44 drummer yet died or they are not telling the public the full truth yet."

Shanna Moakler, Barker’s on-again off-again wife posted a bulletin on MySpace confirming that her husband is not dead, stating:

"I’m not quite sure who would start such a sick rumor, even if it was done as a joke. i am happily laying next to my husband who is alive and well and it brings me great pleasure to stop a rumor as horrific as that. It is indeed FALSE.

Dennis Dennehy from Interscope Records, home of Barker’s band +44, has also responded to the influx of enquiries he was receiving by simply saying it’s "Not true."
