Usher Forced To Cancel Pre-Grammy Appearance

Usher has been forced to cancel a performance at Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy party, due to a “serious” family issue, it was announced Saturday (February 7).
Davis told his star-studded event that the R&B singer wouldn’t be attending, however, reports over what was said vary depending on the website, with some quoting Davis as saying a “serious illness in the family” and others reporting a “serious injury in the family”.
According to Access Hollywood, Usher’s wife Tameka had “experienced complications from plastic surgery”, but no official reason has been given by his reps.
Davis told People, “I talked to his mom. My thoughts are with them, whatever they’re facing.”
