When Javier Bardem accepted his Best Supporting Actor award at Sunday’s Oscars, many were left wondering what he said during his acceptance speech, when he thanked his mother in Spanish.
‘Good Morning America‘ solved the puzzle on Monday morning when they enlisted a Spanish interpreter to let their viewers know exactly what the ‘No Country For Old Men’ star said.
"Mum this is for you," Bardem said as he collected his award.
"This is for your grandparents. This is for your parents, Raphael and Matilda. This is for the performer’s of Spain who brought, like you, the dignity and the pride of our profession. This is for Spain and this is for all of us. Thank you very much."
