USA Today has announced the winner of the X-Men Origins: Wolverine hometown premiere competition, that’s been running on the movie’s official website. So without further adieu, Hugh Jackman is headed to…..
Tempe, Arizona, was the winner of the online competition, that encouraged fans to vote for their city or town on a map and Jackman couldn’t be happier.
“These fans have driven the success of the X-Men franchise over the years, and (the contest) has been a chance to say, ‘This is for you,’” he tells the newspaper. “People were so excited to get involved, and it was just amazing.”
The premiere of the new flick will happen on Apri 27 ahead of it’s release on May 1.
“I do love meeting the fans,” Jackman adds. ”Particularly with these movies. I know how passionate they are, and I love to share it with them.”
