On the one-year anniversary of his sentencing for felony assault against Rihanna, singer Chris Brown has attended a progress hearing at the Los Angeles Superior Courthouse – but the news is all good, with the judge praising his efforts to clean up.
Brown has been diligently trying to put his past behind him, and the judge seems to have noticed.
“You are doing very well on probation,” said Judge Patricia Schnegg.
“You are doing a good job. It looks like you are working consistently on your community labor hours and I know it is a big job.”
Schnegg noted that Brown, who has a new movie on the way and is working on a new album, has also been regularly attending his domestic violence classes, having only missed two.
The judge ordered the 21-year-old singer to continue with the remaining four years of his probation.
He’s due to return to court on November 18 for another progress hearing.
